My (approximately) ninth plushie, a ducky (tentatively) named Gunther, who I made for my best friend Sage.
I'm REALLY proud of this little guy, best one I've made so far. Like the others, he's made of T-shirt fabric and stuffed with the innards of gutted pillows. ^^ Except he also has a whole Beanie-Baby's worth of beans in him too, which makes him nice and heavy so he doesn't flop over. Also makes him fun to toss around. I can't remember for sure, but I think he was about half machine-sewed and half hand-sewed, and let me tell you, his wings and bill gave me a hell of a time. His bill, has pieces of cardboard in it to give it shape, in case you were wondering. And his eyes were painted with fabric paint of some sort. Um. Well. There he is. Ducky now belongs to Sagey  who also took the piccys.Originally Frankensteined by ME! |
