Sculpture no.2 Chibi Luffy

Yay! My second complete sculpture, and it was made spontaneously today for my younger brother's birthday. I recently introduced him to One Piece and thought he might get a kick out of a little Luffy to keep on his shelf. And besides, Luffy kicks ass!

It probably took me about 2 or 3 hours total, and I didn't use a wire frame for him like I did for my first sculpture. Also, as you may have noticed, I accidentally used the wrong clay color for his pants-bottoms! It looked like white, but I realised (far too late) that it was actually translucent (I didn't even know I had that!)

Besides that slip-up, I pretty pleased with him, considering what a quick make he was. (And 'cuz I love Luffy, of course.) Ah, I had fun making him! Gotta make more!

PS, check out that top middle pic! He's chillin with two of my favorite figurines. The Oz is a cute little guy I bought from *Keysha-chan a while ago, and the DragonBall-Sunny was something Jason got me for Christmas! I love them. ^_^
